Temporary residence permit due to seasonal work

A temporary residence permit due to seasonal work may be granted to a foreigner if the purpose of their stay is to work on the basis of a seasonal work permit.

A temporary residence permit due to seasonal work may be granted to a foreigner who:

  1. entered the territory of the Republic of Poland on the basis of a visa issued for the purpose of performing seasonal work or under the visa-free regime, in connection with an application for a seasonal work permit entered in the register of applications;
  2. has a seasonal work permit or an extension of a seasonal work permit, valid for a period exceeding the period of stay specified in the visa or the period of visa-free travel;
  3. has a source of stable and regular income;
  4. has a health insurance;
  5. has accommodation provided on the territory of the Republic of Poland.

 

Note! A temporary residence permit due to seasonal work is granted for a period not longer than 9 months from the date of the first entry to perform seasonal work.  

Note! A temporary residence permit due to seasonal work is granted even if the circumstances of applying for this permit do not justify the foreigner's stay on the territory of the Republic of Poland for a period longer than 3 months.

As compared to other temporary residence permits issued for the purpose of work, the fee for issuing this type of permit is lower and amounts to PLN 170.
